AP&G Co. employees donated their gently worn winter coats to those in need this winter.

David Leon, AP&G Human Resources Director, recently coordinated a coat drive at the Bayonne, NJ site to collect winter coats for those in need.

Leon collected a total of 54 coats, all brought by AP&G Co. employees. The coats were sorted and given to Jersey Cares Coat Drive for donation.

The new and carefully used winter coats were intended for men, women and children and were later distributed to local people in need through non-profit organizations. The sales side was led by Jersey Cares, an organization that describes itself as an organization that “increases the level of meaningful volunteering by creating and managing efficient, impactful projects that address critical community-identified needs “.

“It was great to see the team come together to help those in need in the community. I was not at all surprised to see the generous spirit of our employees for a good cause. Kudos to David for his coordination and hard work to make this cloak campaign a reality,” said Jonathan Frisch, VP of Sales and Marketing, AP&G Co.
