FRENCHVILLE – The Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Association has announced the winners of their 2021 Coyote Hunt on the association’s official website.
Ryan Stumpf harvested the heaviest coyote at 49.75 pounds. Clint Van Orden took second place (48.65 pounds) and Deven Harer (45.3 pounds) came third.
Steve Chilcott harvested the heaviest woman, a 44.6-pound coyote.
The club had 4,557 registered hunters with a total prize pool of $ 45,570.
Fifty percent was shared among all hunters who had harvested a coyote. The other $ 18,228 was split 50 percent, 30 percent, and 20 percent among the top three winners.
Blunt received $ 9,114 for first place; Van Orden, $ 5,468.40 for second place; and Harer, $ 3,645.60 for third place.
In addition, Chilcott received $ 9,114 for weighing the heaviest woman. With a total of 224 coyotes brought in, prize money of USD 82 per dog was awarded.
