Question: Can mosquitoes spread COVID-19?
According to the CDC, there is currently no evidence that mosquitoes can spread COVID-19. The main way COVID-19 spreads is person-to-person through breath droplets.
In a June study by the World Health Organization, scientists tested mosquitoes for virus transmission and returned negative results. They concluded that the virus was unable to replicate its cells in the mosquito.
