Taal Volcano, a lake-filled caldera that is one of the country’s active volcanoes in Batangas, spat out ash on Jan. 12 during hydrothermal activities that affected thousands of residents, farmland and tourism businesses in the province.

“We would like to express our deepest, heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated. And for those who still want to donate, our lines are still open. Help us to help others, ”wrote Preña, member of the team’s task force: Tabang sa mga Tugang (Help for the Brothers / Sisters), in his post.

“The label touched us a lot [on the box] It reminded us of the Bayanihan spirit of the Flipino, which is about helping others even though they are also in need, ”said Team Leader Preña’s group, who preferred not to be named, said INQUIRER.net all in one Interview.

The relief effort for the victims of Typhoon Rolly is led by young professionals from the third district of Albay who want to help the least accessible communities in the province.
