AFL 2020: Irving Mosquito Instagram Put up, Essendon Whiteboard Leak, Essendon, Adrian Dodoro, Commerce Plans, Sam Menegola, Majak Daw
Essendon Livewire Irving Mosquito’s Instagram post went viral on Tuesday – but not the way he’d hoped it would.
Mosquito posted a photo of himself in Essendon with club greats Kevin Sheedy and Mark Harvey and then quickly deleted it.
Upon closer inspection, the whiteboard contained some strange notes, the main notation revolving around contracted Geelong star Sam Menegola, whose name was written next to “13 + 20”, two of the cats’ current draft picks.

Menegola is under contract until the end of 2021 but is looking for a new, lucrative offer that the Cats have not yet completed after a career-best season.
The Western Australian reported last month that the 28-year-old and WA native was rated “very easy to understand” by rivals.
The whiteboard also had the name Majak Daw with a question mark next to it, suggesting the recently delisted 29-year-old utility company in North Melbourne could be an option for the Dons if needed.
The bombers stocked up on high stocks after losing Joe Daniher and signed Gold Coast Suns striker Peter Wright for a future round four selection.
Ironically, Essendon’s whiteboard was the subject of speculation back in 2018 when new signing Dylan Shiel snapped an innocent photo with list boss Adrian Dodoro.
