The San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District continues to monitor mosquitoes to help prevent the West Nile virus from spreading.
A floor spray against adult mosquitoes that can transmit the virus is planned in several places on Thursday evening.
Airborne spray to control mosquitoes in adults with dibroma is scheduled in the following areas between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM on Thursday (or Friday if weather is delayed):
- Delta area west of Lodi: parts of the Staten Island, Brack and Terminous areas
- Rural West Lodi: north to Highway 12, south to Telephone Cut, east to White Slough, and west to two miles west of Interstate 5
