MADISON, NJ – Madison residents are invited to purchase discounted composters and rainbins through the Madison Environmental Commission.
According to the flyer sent out to residents, the earth machine compost bin is made from 50% recycled materials and is big enough for a family of five. The cost is $ 60 (regularly $ 99 in retail).
The flyer also states that the commission sells a 55-gallon rain barrel for $ 70 (usually $ 95 at retail). The rain barrel consists of up to 50% recycled material, a lid with built-in mosquito net, spigot, overflow hose and clamp.

The order date has been extended to Tuesday, October 13th. To reserve a compost bin or rain barrel, residents should mail a check by mail or hand to the county clerk, Hartley Dodge Memorial, Kings Road, Madison Environment Commission. Include a description of your purchase and your email address.
Orders must be picked up on Saturday October 18th.
